For those looking for ways to manually move projects until this is implemented: T10350: Scripts to migrate old "points" fields and move projects beneath other projects

Okay. When a task is in "Warp Drive > Thermocoupling" and "Warp Drive > Milestone 1", and you view the "Warp Drive" board and drag the task from "Milestone 1" to "Backlog", what do you expect to happen to the projecs the task is tagged with?
Do you expect a task to be able to be tagged with "Warp Drive" and also simultaneously tagged with subproject "Warp Drive > Thermocoupling"?
No, Thermocoupling alone is enough, as it implies it's part of Warp Drive.
Do you expect a task to be able to be tagged with "Warp Drive" and also simultaneously tagged with milestone "Warp Drive > Milestone 1"?
No, Milestone 1 alone is enough, as it implies it's part of Warp Drive
What it looks like here:
We have the project Grammofy Collections which represents one of our products.
It has a milestone Full Catalog Access
It also has a subproject Grammofy Collections: Frontend/Web

Would a "Countdown Panel" just use a saved "Countdown Query"?
If so, I'd love to be able to query only for Panels where the Countdown ends in <n days or limit the result to n items, so I can only show the most urgent Countdowns when having a lot of upcoming countdowns.
Would it probably make sense to run this also as a regular task through phd?
Maybe it has to be triggered once manually before it is run automatically, as the initial run might be quite resource intensive while any subsequent runs should be just "regular cleanup tasks".
One more use-case you might want to consider:
maybe mentions should always be aware of their context and prioritize users appropriately (subscribers of a task, members of a project, etc etc).
In the case of Conpherence there should be IMHO 3 "lists" considered for prioritized mentions:
- most recent active users in the channel, so replying to one of the the latest message with a mention is straight-forward
- members of the channel
- global user list

@dainysunil you need to provide full instructions to reproduce this issue in an untainted environment.

Thinking about this again, what about making this hard-coded numbered list instead a list of draggable items like it's used in Menu Configuration?

Just tried that too, and strangely: it does.

Did you try to enable PHP's error logging to get more output?

Looks good here! Thanks!
I agree that long project names might a problem on its own - but for now this was a compromise I had to make to compensate for the fact that projects are just "generic" containers which can't be further classified to distinguish between ACL groups/projects/tags.
Tested the CSS here… looks good and solves the problem described in T12366: Long Project names outgrow dropdown widget - thanks a lot!

I'd love to see anchor indicators when hovering headings.

While the number (>0) of query results would decide whether a given panel is shown or not, also exposing the actual number of results would be IMHO interesting in the context of tabbed panels, so that each tab title could be shown as demonstrated in the mock-up below (please excuse my non-designer-ish CSS skills):
I agree with the general understanding of Adminstrators not being in absolute power.
But then again, it would be useful to be able to have a way to test the effective policies applied to a given user.
In terms of application/code stability, it would be good to handle this properly.

Thanks a lot for this ultra-fast reaction & fix.
Although our deployment mechanisms should take care of this on their own, I specifically made sure everything is restarted etc. for reproducing this issue and producing the error logs.

Ok, then feel free to dismiss this one… I didn't expect those kind of complexities behind this :)

The issue might be caused by resources/sql/quickstart.sql still creating tables with ENGINE=MyISAM.
As there's no way to initially create them with MyISAM and then migrate them to InnoDB in case MyISAM isn't supported at all, another solution has to be found.

A related issue. /notification/status just returns:
