Yeah, I can't reproduce it anymore either. I definitely saw it earlier today on a different install (which is up-to-date within a couple of hours) but I don't know what was special then.
This is a test.
I can't reproduce that. Here's what I did:

Ah, thanks. I think it's just missing a disabled state -- I wouldn't expect the edit to actually go through when you save (or are you seeing the edit work, too?).
Locking the icon field in projects doesn't actually work, it's still possible to edit the icon when that field is locked.

Change Priority only appears in Maniphest if the Status is OPEN. I ran into a case where I wanted to re-open a task and assign it a priority.

I have no plans to pursue this anytime soon, but one of the goals of ApplicationEditor is enabling universal bulk editors, and I expect to pursue that and generalize bulk editors before implementing new bulk editor features.

The "Can Edit Task Status" thing is now covered in T10003. I'm going to spin the remaining errata out into a followup since most of this chatter is now obsolete.

I can reproduce on Windows/Chrome: As long as the Actions field is in focus and not open, hitting "down arrow" adds an action.
My question was more what OS should I be testing.

This doesn't reproduce for me, can you provide more details? It just goes down the select list (and I have to hit <enter> to make it trigger)

It doesn't seem to work properly if I try to comment and also change the status of a task. The comment appears but the task status remains unchanged.
I noticed a few minor issues after deploying this on our install.

angie moved T9132: Build an ApplicationEditor abstraction from Restricted Project Column to Restricted Project Column on the Restricted Project board.
epriestley added a comment to T5873: Update Conduit for ApplicationTransactions, CustomFields and Edges.
Broad update here after T9132:

I'm going to close this out since the infrastructure work it describes is now substantially complete, although a great deal of work remains to be done to bring this infrastructure to all applications and implement the full set of features it enables (mostly described in tasks blocked by this one).
