I have that commit deployed. I'll update anyway. The error seems sporadic so I can't be sure it'll reproduce again. Is there any way to be notified of fatals in the daemons?

Yeah, thats exactly it. I only have one or two repos where empty commits can exist, so I can work around it. Shouldn't be much trouble.

Regarding the discussion, I agree with @hach-que that a solution for most cases doesn't need to be fancy. Just a way to download a library from somewhere is light years ahead of the current way of using libraries and would be a great a improvement.
