I'd like to improve arc performance as part of the changes on the experimental branch. Arcanist performance is currently almost entirely limited by Conduit performance.
Diffusion would also benefit from improved Conduit performance.
Some global Conduit performance improvements are available without too much dark magic, primarily through better caching.
