Sorry if this is a stupid question, but now that this is done, how do I actually map between Phabricator users and VCS user strings, in an existing Diffusion repo?

In case someone else ends up with my original problem, I'll mention that https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1518457/comments/69 fixed it.

Thanks; that does help (and also disappoint).
Is there any sense of when this might be worked on? We end up getting "Error Processing Mail (No Receivers)" due to Phabricator being in the CC a few times a week, and it's really annoying.

Thanks!
I did, and it certainly seems to match up. I'm surprised it's so dramatic. I guess since it was working fine before, the sensible thing is probably to just wait for the credits to recover and go back to things on the t2 micro.
My graph certainly seems to imply that this is the issue.
Hm, that's interesting. I know basically nothing about AWS, but I'll try adjusting phd.taskmasters, and if that doesn't work, I'll try using a bigger instance. Is the next size up sufficient, in your experience?
(Is your server an underclocked Raspberry Pi emulated on an Amiga?)
EC2 t2.micro
Not that was printed to the console.
P2005. This was all written to stderr, not stdout. I let it run for a little while and then interrupted.
do you have any more information from the logs?
Should I post the output from bin/phd log? I can't even tell where the actual logfiles are.

This isn't really resolved, I just decided I didn't care about it. Feel free to change the status to something else if you feel that's more appopriate.
Okay. Is it correct that if I trust everyone who has access to my instance won't upload malicious files (and are resistant to untrusted people manipulating them to do so), I don't really need a security.alternate-file-domain at all? (That is my reading of https://secure.phabricator.com/book/phabricator/article/configuring_file_domain/ but I'd feel better if you told me whether it's correct. I understand that you are not making any guarantees.)
Okay, so how should I attempt to reproduce this? Any options more reasonable than creating a new EC2 instance, installing all the supporting paraphernalia, then installing Phabricator manually from scratch?
To reproduce this, I need to change the security.alternate-file-domain config key to point to a new CloudFront instance I create, but I can't change that key from the web interface on a test instance (as far as I can tell, anyway).
Okay, I'm still (or again) getting these "The page isn’t redirecting properly" errors when trying to view an uploaded file, or an uploaded image (e.g. my profile picture).

I'm using CloudFront. That explains why I ignored the note, though; it
doesn't apply to me!
I must have missed what @avivey pointed out. Thanks! Sorry to bother you guys.

Because I wasn't replying directly to the task email, I was replying to a colleague's response in the thread. I did not change any recipients from the default when hitting reply all. The sequence of emails went like this:

Thanks so much.
Ah, that makes perfect sense. Thanks!
How is it even getting mail addressed to, say, jonah@company.com if the system's mail is handled by Postfix and the aliases file only pipes phabricator@ to the Phabricator script?
The way I thought it was supposed to work is that instead of addresses like D832@company.com, we'd use phabricator+D832@company.com and thus only have to reserve the phabricator@ address. Is that not viable?
Which feature do you mean to remove?
Great, thanks. I've been putting off opening a task about the various errors we get when trying to comment on tasks by email when they involve aliases and replying all, but I will do it next time.
In the sense that I'm doing something wrong, or that it's a real bug but probably easy to fix?
I (user B) also got this error message:

Where is the documentation?
Well, that was embarrassing. Thanks.

Any particular reason they should be nonnegative? This is annoying because there is thus no way to create a priority lower than "wishlist". If I bump up wishlist's priority to (say) 10 and put my new priority ("dreaming") as 0, then all the things that were already "wishlist" become "dreaming", which I don't want.

That seems to have worked; thanks.
Ugh, there's no line about .arcconfig. How do I tell it where to look?
Alas, the project shows up under Repositories, but not Arcanist Projects.

Fair enough, but this doesn't seem like something Administrators ought not be able to do. It violates policies, but that doesn't address the underlying reason for the policy (which I am not aware of), it does not violate audit trails, it doesn't impersonate users in a really meaningful way (about the worst thing I could do is change someone's picture to a cat, and is that really even a bad thing?), and it doesn't destroy data.

Another not-so-great workaround is to add all your email addresses to your account, which I think works.
