This is intentional, as pink is not a base ui color in Phabricator (and neither is checkered). Is there a reason you need it for Remarkup?

I see! Thank you. Very interesting.
For example, suppose task T123 has "Subscribers" @alincoln and #ops. Its "Projects" field is #infrastructure and #hardware.
When an object (like a task) is updated (for example, someone comments on it), all the members of projects related to the object in any way potentially receive a notification.
In the meantime, can someone explain what is the difference?

There's probably some optimization opportunity in the rendering pipeline too, but the cost on T603 isn't wildly unreasonable (~5ms per transaction) so we probably can't easily make it like 10x faster.
Proposed plan on D10491 is to implement this as a parameterized not <user> instead.

Having the favicon also change would be very cool. I usually have my phabricator tab pinned, which means that I don't see the title.

- We need to fix the old-version behavior.
- RDS is probably configurable through DB Parameter Groups (http://blog.webyog.com/2009/11/16/top-10-things-to-know-about-amazon-rds/) but we should document this if so.
A one-click "Ignore" (or ignore + confirm) might also be helpful, as at least some users have a hard time finding "ignore" in the UI right now.

I think that plan ^^^ is a pretty good one, and this crops up somewhat-often.

We can't read a real filename -
- At a minimum, we should use "pasted_file" or something instead of "undefined" (which is probably a JS bug).
- If we can read a real filename, that's ideal.
- This feature (copy/pasting images directly into a remarkup text box) is specific to Chrome.

Sounds very reasonible. Thanks for explaining!
I would guess that most users of OpenOffice know that they can open Excel spreadsheets, but suspect not all users of Excel would recognize "Export to Spreadsheet" as quickly. From the WMF ticket, it doesn't look like there was any confusion about what the button does.

Aaaaaaaaah! Okay, that makes sense. I'll adjust these.
To clarify: MySQL (5.0.95) does not return the value when queried, instead it gives an error, which causes the setup warning checker to crash and bring down the entire request with it. Phabricator's homepage fails with an error message. I can't ignore the setup warning because it isn't even shown (there's no UI, only the error message on blank page). This happens both before and after adding the option to the [mysqld] section of my.cnf.

You should be able to ignore setup issues in the UI -- there's an "ignore" action to the far right on the list view. We could maybe make that more prominent.
On my (relatively old) Phabricator install, this issue-check caused Phabricator to fail with unknown system variable 'ft_stopword_file' after upgrading phabricator.
I had to hunt down the specific file and comment out the check for this and for min_word_len which results in a similar error.
