Worth noting that the desirability of self-notifs is highly contextual. We use gmail, I was shocked to find there is no way to get gmail to let me see my own posts. But then I'm one of the few people using a local mail client, and it is actually kind of annoying when I have to slog thru the copies of the self-notifs on my phone to try and get to the one comment in the midst of potentially dozens of self-notifs.

@epriestly I'd lost that connection, so reachability, it might appear.

@epriestley I think you under-estimate the potential and value of your own product.

@avivey I was hanging my head in RTFM shame, TBH.

How about this:

@epriestley I'm in the process of setting up phabricator to help mature the development workflow based on svn here, and make future transitions to git/perforce easier. Changelists would be a natural path here but the workaround for our use case is to just manually specify paths, but it's annoying if you have a locally modified file that you accidentally include in a diff, since you *have* to revert it to remove it from the diff. Using a changelist would let you avoid making the mistake in the first place.

@epriestley Yep - like what you're doing there :)
So I don't forget:
Oh, no, it's just to do with the ordering of the links vs the annotations: if you're totally new to phabricator, you're going to get tripped on the "quick start" link which says "install stuff" and in the middle links you back two pages...
