Interesting, thanks. I just followed the "Diffusion User Guide" which states that the git user must have access to the repos as the phd-user.

I understand - i didn't wanted you to fix my configuration. I think as soon as i have some experience running phabricator in this setup i can try to help improving the setup, if even possible.
However, i wouldn't exclude that i misunderstood something about the moving parts of Phabricator.

Thanks @epriestley, i will try to investigate further. It seems that i have still something misconfigured. I'll get back as soon as i have to add something useful. :-)
I ran into the same issue, it turned out, that the permissions for /phabricator, /libphutil and /phabricator as well as for the preceding parent-directory had to be 755.
