Description

Harbormaster events are not listed in the Feed application. I would like to see those events to keep track of our build status.

I definitely see Harbormaster events in Feed queries, so I'm not sure what this task is asking for:

There is some discussion on this diff about a more reasonable way to show build status in the UI across multiple containers / buildables.

That's exactly what I want but I don't see them. Is there a config that I should make?

No, this works out-of-the-box for me.

Apparently only failed build events are shown.

Yes, that is expected behaviour. Only failed Harbormaster builds generate Feed transactions.

It sounds like T10053 is an appropriate solution to your use case.
