Development Notes (2016 Week 8)
Workboards got even fancier, and repository callsigns are now optional.
This is a companion to the 2016 Week 8 (Late February) Changelog.
Callsigns: Now Optional
Repository callsigns are now optional. They are no longer required when creating new repositories, and can be removed from existing repositories (although old URIs which include the callsigns will also stop working). You can find additional discussion on callsigns in T4245.
At some point in the future, repositories will also get more readable URIs if they have a "Short Name" configured, but this may not happen immediately. Until then, repositories with no callsigns have ID-based URIs.
