This is correct as previously written. I left Facebook on or around April 15, 2011 and Phabricator was open sourced around April 29, 2011 after a protracted shouting match where I threatened to quit several times unless Facebook actually opened sourced it.

"From my perspective, trying to open source this has been a long journey of arguing the null hypothesis against impossible nightmare scenarios, where every wild concern is treated credulously and considered blocking because of the finality of releasing the project. I am frustrated and disappointed that this process is still not over. In my mind, it has wasted significant quantities of my time without benefiting Facebook. The direction of the project has never been changed, its pace has only been slowed."

Oh, I just parsed it incorrectly. Will update to:

I wrote Maniphest to track open issues with the project in January or February, left Facebook in April, and shortly after, we open sourced Phabricator.
