Are you adding a new credential or modifying an existing one? I feel like I've seen something similar though under different circumstances (T10241).

I tried to add a new credential.

But I've found a workaround. If I add the credential directly in the Passpharse application, everything works as indeed. But when I try to add the credential in the Diffusion application (Diffusion > Import Repositry > Git > ... > Authentication > Add Credential) I get the error mentioned above.

What revision is your install running on? If it's recent then this might be a legitimate bug and should be reported.

It's the git master from yesterday, wasn't sure if it's a bug or an installation/config error.

I'll report it as soon as possible

You shouldn't be getting an exception.
