@epriestley correct.. basically we have an external system (a Jenkins-like CI tool) that we're effectively using as a workflow engine. The timing isn't strictly defined, it's basically "when the user presses the button, do all these things".

ramesh_dharan closed T9143: arc land hangs if git pre-push hook creates child daemon processes as Invalid.
Thanks @jhurwitz; actually, I run typically run my own installation of stock/upstream arc and libphutil that I have set up directly from GitHub, but I had downgraded to the 'arc' provisioned on our machines to see if that affected anything.

You can use bin/audit delete to do this, although you'll have to massage things a bit.
