I opened a Conpherence thread on my mobile device which I had somehow missed (I guess I didn't see the email). I was trying to work out when the original message was sent, but I couldn't see any timestamp on the original message. When I responded to the message, there was a timestamp (well, technically it only included a date) above my reply.
On the desktop version of Conpherence, I can see the timestamp for the original message on the right hand side.
It's just on the transactions, right? Not rooms?
(It's standard on transactions in everything so it's probably not practical to remove it.)
Or do you mean exposing it in the UI? I don't think it's too useful, but it might be helpful to see if someone is mobile vs web, maaaybe? We could put an icon on their picture or something though. I think all other cases of content source don't matter.
(I'm generally not huge on content source being especially useful anywhere, but it's occasionally nice to have for debugging, especially for Conduit/Daemons content sources..)
We special case UI in Conpherence Full vs. Sidebar vs. Mobile, was looking at simplifying some of this special casing (which meant removing content source from "full" view). This would affect other transaction UI.
