Currently, 'recurring events' are editable and their generated 'ghost events' are not editable. This is the opposite of what this ultimately should be, but in the meantime, it might be confusing that clicking on most instances of a recurring event doesn't let you edit it. Some confusion can be alleviated by providing a link to the actual recurring event, which is editable, for now.
