"copy" attribute for custom fields is not working, at least for text fields

Description

The copy attribute, which copies field values during "Create Similar Task", does not seem to be working properly, at least for text fields and maybe selects.

yes, I found the issue too, not only for text, but also for select, etc..

I've marked D14699 as fixing this, but it only applies to the EditEngine form, see T9905.
