Right now, Aphlict can be somewhat confusing for administrators to configure, and we don't provide a great amount of documentation/tools to provide assistance and debugging. There are a couple of things that we could do here to make the setup process easier:

• Detect when the Aphlict server is not running and raise this as a configuration issue (we already do this when daemons are not running).
• Write documentation on debugging Aphlict issues, probably building up a list of the common error numbers with instructions for each.
• Make error notifications clickable, linking to some documentation or debugging tool.
