A very common use case we have internally is that if we want to see the work someone is currently working on, we search for their name, then click "Tasks" in the left nav. The use case of going to this area is so we can see what's currently assigned to someone so we can determine (a) what they're working on, (b) what they will be working on in the future. Right now, these tasks are sorted reverse-chronologically instead of being sorted by the actual priority order that we all do, which makes it very hard to achieve the (a) and (b) use cases above. From the experience of myself and members of my team, without having this ordered properly, this screen does not serve its purpose.
