Bug in Milestone feature involving metadata assignments.

Description

When we created our 4th mile stone, we lost all of our meta-data & boards from our 2nd mile stone project.

We look at the sprint 2 project, says it has no boards and no open tasks, asks us if we would like to create boards

We goto the bugs project, it displays the previous sprint 2 including all the tasks belonging to the sprint 2

steps to create:

we created proj Bugs:

create milestones:
sprint 1
sprint 2
sprint 3
sprint 4

add dummy tickets to each sprint

Can you reliably reproduce this each time? Can you post your version information as required?

Also, your steps to reproduce contradict your description.

I cannot reproduce this as stated. Here's what I did.

  • Create a project "Bugs"
  • Create a milestone "1" under Bugs
  • Create a milestone (next milestone) "2" under Bugs
  • Create a milestone (next milestone) "3" under Bugs
  • Create a milestone (next milestone) "4" under Bugs

Go to Maniphest

  • Create a new Task, tag it to Bugs(1)
  • Create a new Task, tag it to Bugs(2)
  • Create a new Task, tag it to Bugs(3)
  • Create a new Task, tag it to Bugs(4)

Go to "Bugs" Project

  • Create a Workboard, blank
  • View Workboard, see all sprints and tasks in their assigned roles.

Do you have any ideas or thoughts as to what I can do differently to reproduce this bug? From your description it sounds like at some point a workboard for the milestones should be set up? If you need a clean test install to help narrow down the steps, we provide them for free on http://phacility.com.

We are unable to reproduce this, and haven't received more information in about a week. Feel free to file a new task if you're able to develop reproduction steps which we can follow to reproduce the issue.
