I suspect that typically users copy paste credentials out of passphrase, there are some situations where it's not possible to copy paste, such as entering information into arcane web consoles (vsphere!). In these situations, some passwords are particularly terrible to transpose, here is a contrived example:

The password here is lIlIlIlIlIlI. It would be much better if these were rendered in a monospace font.
