Hi there, I have put a DNS name: Personalproject for the phabricator and i notice the following error:
This request asked for "/" on host "Personalproject", but no site is configured which can serve this request.
What is the reason for this error?

hmm, but this is a virtual machine phabricator that i run at home. I still need a dot?
like .. http://Personal.project/ ?
Where do i setup the configuration phabricator.base-uri ?
It needs a dot even in virtual machines.
Once you have the hostname properly set up, you should get a Setup Issue instructing you to run ./bin/config phabricator.base-uri <uri>.
hmm, it looks like i can't have periods in host names.
What else can i do?
This is setup in a hyper-v machine
You can add an entry in your /etc/hosts file (Or equivalent), or use an IP address. Your machine will only be accessible from your machine, but that's probably fine for your goals.
Hmm, to simplify. This server is in my place, but actually i have many people that access this site. I don't think i could get everyone to modify their host file. Using ip address is what we are using, but would like to switch over if possible.
Then you need a proper DNS entry. Talk with whoever sets up your network for details on getting this done.
Is there anyway, where we can configure apache so that when i access Personalproject, Apache will forward to the IP address of the phabricator instead?
That's outside what we support, basically you're on your own once you deviate from the Installation Guide. "Anything" is possible, of course, but we're not going to have time to help with any issues relating to it. Highly advised to install Phabricator in a "normal" environment.
