I'm just an end user. But I fully agree with that. Using a priority to set a status always confused me. In JIRA it works more intuitive. A task starts in the backlog, and when touched it will be pushed to status open. When somebody accepts and starts the task, it will be moved into "In progress". And the priority can be from low to high. I like Phabricator very much, but in JIRA the Boards with ranking (ranking is not a priority) you actually can set the order of the tasks in a priority group.

I actually also think this is a big improvement. When you search on the web there are not many browser based open source mind map tools. I use XMind, but it requires a desktop application. We now started to use Phabricator Pholio (pretty cool) for our mockups. And internal Wiki pages to document our plans and include the Phababricator tasks. Mind maps are very fast and useful for brainstorm sessions. It would be very cool if that also can be attached as a related object to a task. I wish I could help you guys to develop it, but I can't. And I understand that building that type of add-on is a lot of work. I understand that this can't be done in a few weeks, or even months. Just wanted to share that I think this is a nice add-on that will make Phabricator an even better tool then JIRA for example. Keep up the good work, guys :-)
