The web interface should alert (show a config issue?) when there are fatal errors or exceptions in the daemon log

Description

This would make it much more immediately noticeable when daemons are crashing or failing, so the causes of issues can be identified faster.

We haven't seen requests for this from other installs and I don't particularly favor this mechanism. Prior alerts in this vein like "daemon and web config differ" have created a lot of noise and little value. T7338 should eventually provide more monitoring tools.
