Let (some?) users hide the default column in a workboard
Closed, WontfixPublic

Description

I'm using a huge catch-all project's workboard to manage my tasks, but I only care about the 10–20 things I've actively pulled out of the "incoming" column and put as next-up. I've got a hidden "icebox" column with over a thousand triaged tasks, but there are hundreds of untriaged tasks in the default column which would be great to be hidden.

I imagine hiding the default column is disallowed for user confusion purposes, but in this case I know what I'm asking for. I think. :-)

I don't plan to implement this. We haven't seen other interest in it and your use case seems fairly unusual.

T3670 is likely to provide some more tools for dealing with this situation, by letting you split some parts of the project apart into subprojects.
