When I create a task via the web UI, I am shown the task ID after the task is created. When a task is created via inbound email, however, I am given no feedback that the creation of the task actually worked. Ideally, I would receive an email saying "Thanks, Txyz has been created".

Ah yeah... I have self emails disabled. I dislike self-emails when creating a task through the web UI, but I would see value in having self-emails when I create a task via email (because otherwise I have no idea if it actually worked)

Cool, T5791 is along the same lines here. We want Herald to do more of the "I only want email with conditions x, y, and z" heavy lifting and get out of the config options / settings game.
