General search no longer respects custom priorities
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

Before users could customize their default search parameters by placing a query at the top of the left column in https://secure.phabricator.com/search/query/advanced/ , but that doesn't work anymore. Is this a regression or intended behavior?

For what is worth, this default search parameters is very useful for those of us searching mainly for a specific type of object (open tasks in my case, as I seldom search for closed tasks or commits).

You can select the search scope you prefer from the dropdown to the left of the input, including a custom query. For example, here's how I have mine set up so that it always searches for open tasks:

Presuming this is resolved because the new feature is a superset of the old feature.
