When we were both typing messages rapidly, I saw this happen:

Was this against HEAD? Some bug fixes in this area within 24 hours of the report.

It was against HEAD at the time of the report. I'll try upgrading today and see if it fixes the issue.

It is most definitely still an issue (in this case it duplicated like a bunch of times when I just spammed Send Message):
