Unless there are events on the selected day starting before 8am, slide the day view forward to 8am, so that the viewer can see the meat of the day, rather than an empty calendar that starts at 12am.
Currently in day view, all-day event height is calculated based on the assumption that the day is 24 hours tall. When this changes, if it does, revisit how all-day event heights are being calculated.
