Description

.vhd Files are not highlighted, although the installed pygments (1.6) should support it.

How can I find out what the problem is?

You can use syntax.filemap to configure how files are highlighted.
The attached diff adds support for VHDL by default.

Adding the file type to syntax.filemap worked for me.
