If the Nuance application is installed, but you do not have access to it, (your browse to the nuance url and get a 404)

you can still add items to nuance via conduit, I found this on phacility.

Ohhh. /nuance/ 404's because it doesn't have a home page yet. You do have access to it, it's just verrry prototyppey. You can go to, like /nuance/item/new/ to get an empty page.

Darn, I thought I actually found something :/
