I previously filed T5014 and T5017 which got dup'ed against T418 but I don't think this is exactly the same thing. For instance rows of tasks are also displayed on your home page. So there should be a global config setting to indicate which fields (including custom ones) are displayed in task rows.

I don't know if the solution for T4863 would require a per-workboard setting, but it might be better for the first pass to have a global setting here as well (which might be the most common case anyway).

The intent of T418 is that you can define a Maniphest Task and that task gets displaying everywhere with the Custom Fields you designated. It is the global version. T4863 is a more localized version to Workboards, which may or may not be needed by the time we get T418.

I think T418 is this, exactly. It previously covered more ground, but all that's really left is bringing custom fields to object list views.
