Using the save_lint.php script

Description

I like the idea of the ./scripts/repository/save_lint.php and was keen to test it out, but I can't work out how it is intended to be used.

I am running /path/to/phabricator/scripts/repository/save_lint.php from the directory containing the repository that I wish to lint. However, I get the following error:

Best option: wait for T1049, and lint-via-Harbormaster, which will probably be available within a few months.

Alternate option:

  • Define an Arcanist Project in .arcconfig in the working copy.
  • Using the Repositories tool in the web UI, associate the project with a repository.
  • That will probably make save_lint.php work.
  • But maybe not.
  • Wait for T1049 if not.
