Description

Currently it is possible to add a blurb to projects, we would like to have more detailed information on the project page. This could be a new per project field with remarkup formatted text displayed under the project name and blurb. As far as I can tell this is not possible yet.

At blender.org we would use this for things like:

Link to wiki documentation
Link to mailing lists
Report Bug, Request Feature, .. links for this project (link to create task page with relevant fields pre-filled)
Project leader names
Information about project status (abandoned by developers, looking for maintainers, superseded by other project, ..)

I think this is going to be quite important for us to make phabricator easier to navigate and understand for new users and developers. The list of people, open tasks and feed that are shown already are great, but each project needs a bit of custom information to tie everything together.

Projects, and specifically project pages, do need some love. I think we can subtask some of these in the interim so we can get a better idea of the work.

Add task with prefilled data

These already exist in the current action list, though they are fairly hidden. I'll think about that problem a bit.

I should clarify, we use Mediawiki to host our developer and user documentation, and probably will not use Phriction. We will also create our own customized "report a bug" page that creates a task, so we need our own links to them. From experience end users need some guidance to create good bug reports and the create task page is too generic.

The point is that Phabricator is not going to understand all the relevant information, and that it's useful to have a low tech solution where we can just add some extra links and information per project.
