Hash search fails in advanced search (works at top of page)

Description

I am unable to find a commit by its hash when using the advanced search but it is found just fine from the search box at the top of the page with as little as the first seven characters of the hash. For example, I would expect any search for 508a2a1 to bring up rP508a2a149857.

This is expected.

The global search accepts a number of shortcuts, documented in Search User Guide: Shortcuts.

Searching in the full form searches for documents containing the string 508a2a1.
