maniphest.points can be enabled or disabled, but I think we can leave this info on API still.

It's available on maniphest.search.
I don't plan to make further changes to maniphest.query. Callers should move away from it; the third-generation endpoints like maniphest.search are dramatically more powerful.

Most of that applies to maniphest.search, too, and the documentation it links to is general-purpose. That post is just a little more hands-on than the real documentation is.
