I'd like to use icons for minor links. One concrete example is an 'edit this panel' link for one of the panels on our dashboard. I'd like to use them in lists of things at times. Ideally it should be possible to write something like [{icon pencil}](https://phabricator.twitter.biz/dashboard/panel/edit/2/) and get linked pencil.

this task might more generally: support inline remarkup in link names. I havn't tried to make image, bold, or other interesting links.
We're planning to do this at some point:
{button icon=pencil, name="Edit Panel", href="...", animation="zoom", sound="explosion"}Unsurprisingly, that would render a button. Would that cover your use case?
I'm hesitant to generalize links to support inline markup because there are many inline markup rules which can't reasonably be links, usually because they are already links: other links, object references, user mentions, object mentions, tags with hrefs, buttons, etc. While this is technically navigable, it's fairly complex, and I suspect {button ...} is an easier approach with a better outcome for at least most of the use cases this might have.
This is already documented, do you have any suggestions for improving the existing documentation?
oh, I'm just braindead: I skipped over the nav portion entirely since it wasn't the obvious thing I wanted.
