Hello All,

I have created a repository 'r' using login 'a'. Now, I cloned that repository using login 'b' and it's vcs password. Now, when I commit, I am giving the credentials of 'b' and it's vcs password. When I open diffusion from 'a', it show's me that the Author/Committer of the recent commit in the repostiory is some 'c'. I am unable to understand why.

How does phabricator decide who the Author/Commiter is. When I clone and commit form credentials of 'b', how come some 'c' becomes the Author/Commiter of that commit transaction ?
Kindly help.

Author/commiter are git concepts (I assume you're using git), not specific to Phabricator.

They are obtained from your machine's/user's configurations - you'd configure that using git config.
