How does one setup a dashboard panel to only show items for a specific project?

The comments in T5558 indicate a Dashboard can be used to show repositories/tasks/revisions/mocks/etc for a project.

I want to show only the tasks for a specific project in a Dashboard panel, but when I edit the Panel and select the specific Project and Search For Tasks, the panel still shows all tasks and not just the tasks for the selected project.

I created a sample panel, W366 , hoping to see only the Almanac tasks, but I see all tasks. This maybe my misunderstanding of what the Projects field does when editing a task.

How would I show only tasks for a specific project in a dashboard panel?

First, use Maniphest's Advanced Search feature to create the query you want, and save it as a Custom Query.
Then, edit the panel, select Search For: Tasks, and select that saved query in the Query field.
