Rough outline for Pholio (Pixelcloud).
Moleskine (working name) - Individual Image or Group of Images/Ideas (like a revision)
Follow Up (working name) - Posting a new Moleskine that is in direct response to another Moleskine.
- When creating a moleskine you upload one or more images, and the entire group of images is a "revision" (or some other term).
- Users comment on the moleskine as a whole, but have on-image comments and maybe other ways to easily point at specific images.
- People can Follow Up a Moleskin with another Moleskin. This links the Moleskins together (I can see Bob Followed Up with a new Moleskin, or multiple people with different ideas, all from the original)
- Comments stay with the Moleskin
- (rough idea) you can 'clip' a portion of an image, and comment on it. This would generate a new image that sits inline in the comment timeline with the comment.
- Hearts go on the whole Moleskine
- Integration with cl.ly?

Open questions:
- Is there a "needs attention" status? i.e., do you assign reviewers (of some sort) and they have a list of things they're supposed to look at somewhere? Or do you assign initial subscribers and they get an email but no continuing "needs attention" status? Or do you assign nothing and the expectation is you'll tell people about it through other channels or feed?
- Is there an overall open/closed status? How do these states transition? i.e., does a moleskine get "Shipped", "Abandoned", "Archived", etc.? Is it automatically "Obsoleted" when updated (how about if updated by a different author?)
