I updated to get rP9d125b45 and there is no change. Cloning a repo using http still hangs. I then reverted the change in rP8269fd6 and that did not fix the problem either.

Which server log are you asking about? I have looked around at various logs and can't find any errors, but maybe I'm not looking in the right place. I see the GET and POST commands, both returning 200, in the nginx logs and that is it. Nothing in syslog.
