When I started using Phabricator, we had no spaces. Then I played around, created some spaces and figured out, that I do not want to use spaces. No I only have left the default space. When I archive it, all my repositories are no longer visible by default, what makes sense, because they are associated to the default space. By I cannot un-associate them. I would like to be able to disable the usage of spaces completely.
