Unread notification count in nav bar out of sync for my account

Description

The unread notification count in nav bar was reporting 2 this morning while I had no unread notifications. I figured I'll wait in case it resolves itself later in the day while I receive new notifications, but now it's at 4:

I presume this to be the same issue, is this on a private instance or here on secure?
