I was able to upload that file fine. Maybe I'm not reproducing the issue you saw though, can you give more details on how to reproduce it?

Well, I went to the files application via the Explore more Applications link on the sidebar. Then I hit upload file and select the mkv. It uploads, but then fails showing that message afterwards.

And it's still failing for you in this install? What browser/OS should I be testing?

I'm on Arch Linux and I'm using Chromium. I think there might be a version available for Mac OS (if you're using Mac...). https://www.chromium.org/getting-involved/download-chromium

Name : chromium
Version : 43.0.2357.130-1
Build Date : Tue 23 Jun 2015 12:11:07 AM EDT
Install Date : Tue 23 Jun 2015 02:56:04 PM EDT

We don't support Chromium, FWIW. Not that it's a browser issue, I just don't have any means of reproducing the bug.
