Moving Phriction page changes page title
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

If you change a page's location in the document hierarchy, the page's title (as shown at the top of the page, and as shown in Document Hierarchies) is modified.

For example, if I choose to move a page called Bootstrapping VMs from Production Data to exist at a deeper level in the tree, the page is renamed to the URL short-name (I don't really know how else to describe this, so I made a table to illustrate).

BeforeAfter
TitleBootstrapping VMs from Production Dataprod-data
Location/w/dev-prod/prod-data//w/dev-prod/vms/prod-data/

This behavior is not expected or ideal.

I can't seem to reproduce this. See this test page here...

My steps were pretty simple

  • made the document (including the body recording what the data was)
  • moved the document
  • observed the title was preserved

Maybe this was fixed recently?
