fancy scrollbars stop working after interacting with address bar
Closed, InvalidPublic

Description

  • Go to https://secure.phabricator.com
  • scroll around with arrow keys
  • click on the address bar
  • click back on the web content
  • hit arrow keys, nothing happens.

Clicking "a bunch" (two?) times makes the scroll bars work again. Since (1) I ran into this all the time this morning (2) don't actually click on the address bar for fun, I think there are other variations that trigger this, but it's the cleanest repo case I could make.

This is with Firefox 31, which should be an ESR release. I get the same behavior with Chrome 34, but I know that one's older.

I can't reproduce this in Firefox 35, Safari 7.1.2, or Chrome 40 on OSX. In all cases, the scrollbars are active again after clicking the web content.

What OS are you on?

I can test Firefox on Ubuntu when I get back from dropping kid off at school. I should point out though that in Chrome/Firefox, we only support the latest browsers released, not previous versions.

I am not able to reproduce this on current Chrome or Firefox with secure. Going to close out since we haven't seen additional reports and scrolling has received a bit of additional work over the last two months.
