Before the recent mail fix, link sections in mail went like

LINK SECTION
a link

NEXT SECTION
blah blah

Now they go like:

LINK SECTION
alink
NEXT SECTION
blah blah

This is inconsistent at a minimum, and I think less desirable than the old style (although it would be reasonable to design forward instead of reverting).
