Description

Does there exist a method to create a rule (perhaps in Herald) where a specific file is committed on a specific branch to trigger the creation of a Maniphest task to initiate an evaluation of other files that depend on the file modified?

  • You could trigger an audit of the file by a project like "Needs Dependency Evaluation".
  • After D8784, you could theoretically write a custom Herald action to do this.
  • We don't have any plans to support sophisticated custom actions like this in the upstream any time in the near future.
