Is there a way we can add a new status in the calendar?

Do you mean that you want to mark yourself as "Away", or that you want a new type of status (in addition to "Away" and "Sporadic")?

Yes, like setting a corporate event and other stuffs?

We plan to make Calendar more useful, but it's not currently a priority. You can find some discussion in, e.g., T4375.
