Often times it is of interest to determine the age of a task but the only way to find this is by looking at the log. Then, if there is a lot of discussion, the top part of the log is truncated. It's not terribly difficult on a task that has a short description, but when it's more than a page or so, you wind up scrolling to find the create date in the log.

I wonder if the create date of the task should be on the right column along with items such as Subscribers, Authored By, etc...

What do you do differently knowing the date a task was opened? That is, what problem does it expressly solve?

Actually, just going to close this out in favor of the discussion on https://secure.phabricator.com/phame/post/view/770/development_notes_2016_week_10/. Please add your thoughts there.
