Is there a reason way I can not add a subscriber to a question in Ponder?

Details

If I know that somebody else is involved in the problem, then I would like to add it as a subscriber to the question. Is there any reason way we can not add subscribers?

One way is to mention the user in the question/answer and he/she gets subscribed automatically.
Unfortunately, it doesn't work all the time.
Is there a specific way to do it?
